About This Event
Join us for the Keeper’s View, a free open house celebrating the completion of the Trails and Landscape and Lighthouse preservation projects at Split Rock Lighthouse.
The celebration will begin with a ribbon cutting and brief remarks from Kent Whitworth, Minnesota Historical Society Director and CEO and Hayes Scriven, Split Rock Lighthouse Site Manager highlighting the importance of the restoration work and future of this historic landmark.
Guests are invited to explore the grounds and historic buildings, enjoy live music, and relax with yard games while taking in the stunning views of Lake Superior. Barbecue will be served and beverages available for purchase.
The celebration will conclude with a special lighting of the Split Rock beacon in honor of its 116th anniversary.
