About This Event
MNHS President Tom Forsythe and Director and CEO Kent Whitworth invite you to attend a social for members of our Executive, Emeritus, and Honorary Councils, and guests.
This year, we will gather at Oliver Kelley Farm and there will be a lot to do! We should be among the first visitors to the completed preservation work at the historic farmhouse, made possible by the people of Minnesota, by The Travelers Companies, Inc., and the National Trust for Historic Preservation. There will also be demos in the learning kitchen, and as always, there will be adorable farm animals to see and pet! We'll also celebrate our new strategic plan and the publication of the third edition of Northern Lights, MNHS's history curriculum for 6th graders.
Come when you can!
Brief remarks at 7 pm. Dinner buffet, hosted bar, dessert.
Attire: Summer business casual and comfortable walking footwear (it's a farm!).
This event is offered in gratitude for your volunteer service and advocacy on behalf of MNHS and Minnesota history. However, if you would like to help offset the evening’s expenses, a suggested donation of $50 per person may be made at mnhs.org/support/donate.
July 10. Reach out to Ian Olson with questions: 651-259-3101 or ian.olson@mnhs.org.
