The Jeffers Petroglyphs site is home to historic and sacred carvings, as well as over 250 species of prairie plants. Follow along with Bell Museum botanists George Weiblen and Tim Whitfeld as they demonstrate plant-pressing. Ask these experts your burning questions about plant identification and museum collections. Tim and George will bring plant specimens from Jeffers back to the Bell’s herbarium — after the event, you will be equipped to start your very own herbarium in your community!
