About This Event
This hands-on class introduces young chefs to essential pastry and baking techniques. Students will learn the science of custards while baking sweet bread pudding muffins, master the delicate pan control required for French crepes, and explore aeration by whipping homemade cream from scratch. Registration includes all premium ingredients, child-safe tools, recipe cards, and full-day access to explore the historic farmstead. This event is ideal for ages 8-14, though there is no age limit. Adults can attend with children for the ticket price. Children between 5-8 must be accompanied by an adult. This event is not suited for children younger than 5 years old.
