About This Event
The Women’s Work Walking Tour takes visitors on a guided journey of the Minneapolis Riverfront and the places where women shaped the city's development through their labor.
Hear the stories of the earliest entrepreneurs in the city and how they shaped the history of Minneapolis. Visitors will hear the tales of the ways women organized and shaped the Minneapolis economy from the nineteenth century through today.
This tour includes approximately 1.25 miles of walking on paved, sometimes uneven surfaces. The tour does include a same day reduced admission voucher for the Mill City Museum on the day of the tour. Tour ticket does not include museum admission, but tour attendees can purchase half-priced museum tickets same-day.
