Historic Fort Snelling
In the fall and winter season, Historic Fort Snelling is open Thursday-Saturday from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm.
Access to the historic fort is via guided walking tour only. Tours are offered on Thursdays and Fridays at 10:30, 12:30 and 2:30. Tours are offered on Saturdays at 10:30, 11:30, 12:30, 1:30, 2:30.
Free admission for Native Americans and Veterans is available only for walk-up tickets in-person at Historic Fort Snelling and not in advance. If you qualify for these options please do not buy tickets online.
