Minnesota Liberators of Concentration Camps Oral History Project

These interviews were conducted in the 1980s for the Holocaust Oral History Taping Project of the Jewish Community Relations Council, Anti-Defamation League of Minnesota and the Dakotas. Some narrators belonged to the first Allied forces to reach concentration camps at the end of World War II; others saw the camps within days of their liberation. Each interview in this collection includes biographical information about the narrator and a description of subjects discussed. The Jewish Community Relations Council donated the recordings and transcripts to the Minnesota Historical Society in 1996.
