Training/Experience: I hold an Associate's degree in Graphic Design and have more than sixteen years of professional experience in graphic design, exhibit design, and environmental graphics. My experience includes four years as Creative Manager at Glensheen Mansion in Duluth, where I developed and managed a wide range of design projects for one of Minnesota's premier historic sites. Since establishing Daymark Designs, I have partnered with museums, historical organizations, and cultural institutions on projects ranging from signage updates and exhibit enhancements to complete exhibit design. My work has included updating interpretive signage at Split Rock Lighthouse to align with Minnesota Historical Society design standards, adapting traveling exhibits to fit unique spaces, maximizing small galleries through thoughtful spatial planning, and creating immersive permanent exhibit environments. Throughout every project, I prioritize accessibility, ADA compliance, historical integrity, and visitor engagement while balancing design objectives with fabrication and installation requirements.

Notes: Daymark Designs provides exhibit and graphic design services for museums, historic sites, cultural organizations, and interpretive spaces. Services range from supporting and updating existing exhibits to designing entirely new permanent or traveling exhibitions from concept through installation. Capabilities include exhibit planning, interpretive graphics, environmental graphics, wayfinding, exhibit case design, scenic and spatial layouts, donor recognition, educational displays, and print collateral. Particular expertise includes developing accurate, to-scale exhibit floor plans that maximize available space while maintaining ADA accessibility, visitor flow, and practical installation requirements. Projects are approached collaboratively, coordinating with fabricators, printers, installers, and other specialty contractors to ensure that all components work together seamlessly. Whether refreshing an existing exhibit or creating a new visitor experience, the focus is on combining thoughtful storytelling, historical interpretation, accessibility, and strong visual design.
