Training/Experience: Chris holds a B.S. in Design Communications from the University of Minnesota and is a Certified Professional Project Manager through the University of St. Thomas. Since 2000, she has served as lead graphic designer on numerous award-winning interpretive exhibits. Her background managing projects at printing companies gives her a hands-on understanding of printing methods, materials, and production processes — knowledge that directly shapes how she designs exhibit graphics for real-world production.

Notes: Kite Strings Design is a solo graphic design practice with a focus on interpretive exhibits, signage, and permanent installations for museums, historic sites, and cultural institutions. We partner with site staff, interpretive planners and other museum consultants to keep every installation grounded in solid research and respectful of the historic space around it. Our approach integrates ADA and accessibility best practices throughout the design process.
