Field Trips

Thank you for your interest. In response to ongoing concerns over health and safety practices, MNHS museums and historic sites will not host any field trips during the 2020-2021 school year.

Look for scholarships to re-open in the fall of 2021 for the 2021-2022 school year.

Field trip options

School tours

Walk the trails, see the 1861 stone warehouse, and tour exhibits about Dakota culture, US treaties, and a war that changed our nation. Cultural and historical presentations, outreach programming, and classroom presentations are available year-round.

Grades: K, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12
