The Ramsey carriage house provides a unique location to hold meetings and gatherings, and as prep space during wedding ceremonies in Irvine Park.
The Carriage House is a charming reproduction that features an all-wood interior, large windows and a sliding carriage door that can be opened for a view of the yard and historic neighborhood. It also includes an accessible restroom on the main floor and additional restrooms in the basement.
The use fee for an event is $500 for up to three hours, Additional time is available for $150 per hour. A nonrefundable deposit of $100 is due 2 weeks prior to the event date. Full payment is due at the event.
Catered events are welcome; however, the Carriage House does not contain a kitchen, and cooking is not allowed on the premises. Catering staff are responsible for removing all trash and leaving the site in a clean, orderly state. Catering equipment may not be delivered the day before or left overnight after an event. The event user selects and pays for all catering costs. Alcohol is allowed if there is a licensed and insured bartender to serve. Smoking is not allowed.
Decorations and signs must be approved in advance. Lit candles are not allowed.
Please note that the carriage house is also our gift shop, and we do not drape/cover the shelves/merchandise.
Rental includes one staff member to answer questions and provide security and lock-up services. Additional staff can be requested for a charge.
The carriage house is wheelchair accessible with main floor bathroom facilities. Two additional bathrooms are located in the basement.
Free on-site parking is available. Bus parking is also available.

The Alexander Ramsey House is available for personal and commercial photo shoots. The cost is $50/hour for exterior and $100/hour for interior.
