Retrospective Digitization

Overview

Many government records are currently born digital, however older records still exist in paper format.  For various reasons, some agencies have digitized or are considering digitizing their paper records.  The following white paper and resource list are intended to be an introduction to digitization and should help familiarize you with the many ideas that should be considered before a digitization project is undertaken.
