Illinois Partners Overview
Illinois is represented by individuals from Illinois's Legislative Information System, State Archives, State Library, and the University of Illinois (Urbana-Champaign) Graduate School of Library and Information Science.
Some of the topics partners are interested in include issues surrounding digital preservation and cost benefit analysis of solutions.

Overview
Nancy Hoffman and Charles Rodgers from the Minnesota Historical Society updated Illinois partners on the Project's past and future activities. Connie Frankenfeld, Digital Programs Librarian at the Illinois State Library, gave a presentation on the Illinois State Library's electronic documents depository.
One concern discussed at the meeting was the need for standards or best practices in functions involving aggregation, management and use of digital information.

Inclement weather prevented representatives of the Minnesota Historical Society from meeting in person its Illinois partners. However, project director Bob Horton talked through a PowerPoint presentation via speakerphone.
Participants represented Illinois's Legislative Information System, State Archives, State Library, and the University of Illinois (Urbana-Champaign) Graduate School of Library and Information Science.
