Mississippi Partners Meeting (May 20, 2008)

Overview

The Minnesota Historical Society met with representatives from Mississippi's Department of Archives and History (MDAH) and the Legislative Budget Office.

Mississippi participants were eager to learn what other states are doing, particularly with respect to XML, which Mississippi uses in a limited capacity. The MDAH also expressed interest in updating the legislative retention schedules, and a comparison of other states' legislative retention schedules could assist in this matter.
