MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. (June 5, 2026) – Paint by number art projects are going large-scale this summer, when Mill City Museum unveils a large paint by number to celebrate the history and beauty of the Stone Arch Bridge. The public is invited to color in a section during the Stone Arch Bridge Festival on June 20 and June 21, 2026.
Mill City Museum is just across West River Parkway from Stone Arch Bridge. The paint by number measures 8-feet wide and 4-feet tall and depicts the bridge and the Minneapolis skyline. Mill City Museum hopes this activity will shine a light on the Stone Arch Bridge’s role in Minneapolis’s development, the city’s architecture, and the festival itself.
Participation in the activity is free and will take place in the museum’s Mill Charles H. Bell Ruin Courtyard (or indoors if raining). The museum will also feature the paint by number activity during the Minnesota Historical Society’s Free Admission Day on June 27, 2026.
