TWO HARBORS, Minn. (June 17, 2026) – Tickets are now on sale for Edmund Fitzgerald: A Great Lakes Memorial on Tuesday, November 10 at Split Rock Lighthouse. The annual event commemorates the memory of the 29 crew members of the freighter Edmund Fitzgerald and all lives lost on the Great Lakes.

In 2025, a record-breaking 2,000+ visitors attended the ceremony at Split Rock. This year, people can plan ahead to get a discounted price on admission. Early bird tickets cost $20 for adults, $15 for seniors, college students, active military members, and veterans, and $8 for children under the age of 17. MNHS members receive a 20% discount. Prices will increase two weeks prior to the event.

Tickets include regular site admission to Split Rock Lighthouse on November 10. Guests can explore the grounds, museum, and historic buildings, including the iconic light tower.

At 4 pm, a ceremony will take place honoring the crew of the Edmund Fitzgerald and all lives lost on the Great Lakes, followed by a beacon lighting. The Split Rock beacon will remain lit until approximately 6 pm.

A livestream of the ceremony will be aired on Split Rock Lighthouse’s website, Facebook page, and the MNHS YouTube channel.
