Christine is a results-driven administrator and service-oriented leader who provides program leadership and translates priorities into action across the Experience Development Division comprising Digital Programs and Production, Exhibits, and Interpretive Programs. She is dedicated to determining and implementing institutional initiatives that support the visitor experience in both depth and breadth of engagement.
Christine has a proven track record of driving innovation and attendance across a statewide network of historic sites and museums. Prior to her current role, Christine led the exhibit program across MNHS’s historic sites network as the Director of Exhibits. She previously held the role of Historic Sites Manager for the James J. Hill House and Alexander Ramsey House, where she led site operations. Her earlier career includes roles in project management and business operations for exhibit projects at the Science Museum of Minnesota, collections management at the Henry Art Gallery, and retail management at the Minneapolis Institute of Arts.
Christine is a current council member of the MN Governor's Residence Council (since 2017). She holds an MA in Museum Studies/Museology from the University of Washington and a BA in Anthropology/Cultural Studies and Comparative Literature from the University of Minnesota.
