The Mill City Museum is the most explosive museum in the world! Built into the ruins of what was once the world's largest flour mill, the museum tells the story of the Mississippi Riverfront, the flour industry, and the city of Minneapolis. You can be a part of this newly-remodeled space when it reopens later this month.
Baking Lab Assistants pre-measure ingredients and help distribute them to program participants as a staff member provides hands-on food history sessions. Volunteers bake the dough the participants mixed, distribute the finished product, and clean up and set up for the next program.
This is an active, on-your-feet position which requires good customer service skills and attention to detail in a fun environment. Commit to 9:45 a.m. - 2 p.m. on two Tuesdays or Thursdays per month for a minimum of twelve months.
